1.Chancellor’s Medal will be given to the overall best performer in UG programs, i.e., the student
who scores highest marks as per the criteria mentioned in S.N. 7.
2. Pro-Chancellor’s Medal will be given to the overall best performer in PG programs, i.e., the
student who scores highest marks as per the criteria mentioned in S.N. 7.

Top six / three (in case of class strength less than 20) of the programs (Pass out batch
2021-22) are eligible to participate, provided he/ she has passed the examination
without any carry over paper & have no disciplinary action against him.
4. The eligible student will apply for the award in the prescribed form only.
5. The student will submit duly filled in form along with self-attested marksheets
/degrees/certificates etc. in support of their claim for the award of marks on or before
the last date i.e., 10/04/2023. Marks will not be awarded if supporting document(s)
is/are not furnished.
6.Incomplete/ Late submitted form will be rejected.

Method for Calculation of marks:
1. Academic Performance: This component is for judging the academic performance of the
student. The marks in this category will be calculated as follows
Marks Obtained = CGPA x (5)
2. Sports/Extracurricular:
The marks in this category shall be given on the basis of the following:
i. The marks will be given for any Two academic year data of two or more year duration of the programmes. Student may choose any two academic years (best performing year of his/her choice) from the entire duration of the programme and claim. However, in case of one year programme, the relevant academic year will be considered.
ii. Student will claim marks in this category by enclosing self attested certificate.
iii. Marks will be calculated on the basis of total certificates submitted by the students, subject to the maximum limit of 15 marks in this category.

6. Eligibility for the Chancellor and Pro Chancellor Medal:
i. Top six / three (in case of class strength less than 20) of the programs (Pass out batch
2021-22) are eligible to participate, provided he/ she has passed the examination
without any carry over paper & have no disciplinary action against him.
ii. In case of tie, all the students meeting eligibility criteria will be considered for
application.
7. Rules for the Chancellor and Pro Chancellor Medal:
i. The eligible student will apply for the award in the prescribed format only. The form will
be sent to them via e-mail.
ii. The duly filled form has to be submitted in scanned copy (IN SINGLE PDF ONLY) at
convocation@srmu.ac.in.
iii. In support of their claim, duly filled application along with self-attested
marksheets/degrees/ certificates etc. should be scanned in single pdf only. Marks will
not be awarded in case of incomplete application or supporting documents are not
furnished.
iv. Last date of duly filled application with supporting documents submission is April 10,
2023. Late submitted form will be rejected.
